Jiggerbug's rental packages provide audiobook lovers with a simple and economical alternative to purchasing numerous audiobooks, and a more practical alternative to renting from inconvenient brick and mortar locations with limited selections. The home delivery system is also ideal for visually impaired people, as well individuals with limited mobility or limited access transportation.

Whether they're exercising, driving, cleaning house, hiking, cooking, running marathons, dropping the kids off at school, or even rock climbing, Jiggerbug empowers their  Members to take advantage of all the time in their busy schedule and expand their world with audiobooks.

How It Works

Jiggerbug members simply create a wish list ("Queue") of their favorite audiobook titles. The first available title in each Queue is shipped via first class mail – both outbound and return shipping is free. Members may keep each title for as long as they choose, with no due dates or late fees. After listening to their audiobook, Members simply return it in the prepaid envelope provided by Jiggerbug. Once the returned book is received, Jiggerbug ships the next title in the Member's Queue.

Downloads

Jiggerbug also offers instant downloads of digital audiobooks in WMA format. Members simply install free software provided by Jiggerbug that allows them to download audiobooks to play back on their computer, or upload to a WMA-compatible MP3 player. Each digital download can be "checked out" for 14 days, at which time the file expires and is added back to the digital library for other Members to "check out".

Library

Jiggerbug members enjoy the largest collection of rental audio titles available anywhere. If Members want to learn a foreign language during their daily commute, Jiggerbug has audiobook lessons in common languages like Spanish and French, as well as Serbo-Croatian and Indonesian. If they want to catch up on the hottest fiction titles, Members can rent audiobooks from authors like James Patterson, C.S. Lewis, Dan Brown, and J.K. Rowling. Our collection also features titles from gurus ranging from the Dalai Lama and Deepak Chopra to Tony Robbins and Stephen Covey. Other popular subjects include biographies, fitness and health, financial planning, real estate investing, political humor, and classic literature. We also feature titles from Oprah's Book Club and New York Times Bestsellers. If we don't have an audiobook listed, our Members can simply request the title and we'll order it.*

Discounts

Jiggerbug's Corporate Discount Program allows employers to encourage their staff to enrich their lives with audiobooks. Rather than arriving at work frazzled from their morning commute, employees can spend their mornings learning the art of happiness from The Dalai Lama, or the next steps to financial freedom from Suzie Orman, or a highly effective habit from Steven Covey. Jiggerbug also offers discounts to military families and educators.

Environmental Responsibility

Jiggerbug cares about the environment and encourages our members to do the same. In addition to supporting their members' efforts to "go paperless" by borrowing audiobooks rather than purchasing paper copies, Jiggerbug also recycles all of its paper waste, plastic CD packaging, and broken CDs.
